Our goal for safety at General Sheet Metal (GSM) is to produce and install a quality product in the safest and most productive manner possible.
The GSM philosophy is to protect our most valuable resource, our people. We focus on making safety instinctive by building upon our “got your back” culture and continuously looking for ways to break down barriers that impact mental focus. We are committed to educating our employees on safe practices not only at work but at home. Resources are provided and promoted to assist our employees in managing their wellness from a holistic perspective.
At GSM we believe in “See something, say something.” Safety is a condition of employment and all employees are empowered to stop work in the event of an unsafe practice. Employees are encouraged to provide recommendations anytime, as well as participate in our anonymous safety surveys.
